Possible 'bare bones' but Cranie could go on loan!

We run the risk of being confronted by the 'bare bones' speech from Harry Redknapp but according to sky sports he is prepared to let Martin Cranie go out on loan...

There has been plenty of talk over the past 48-hours or so about Redknapp needing to get rid of some players so that he could sign others - but at the same time saying he was short of number - and Cranie has been mentioned as one who could go, but the suggestion is that he would be loaned out to either Charlton or Coventry, rather than sold.

With the numbers low as it is, and the barometer leaning towards the dreaded 'bare bones' speech already I would see loaning Cranie out as a strange move - although loans do generate some money though, but would find selling him an equally strange one as he is a fella that I believe has a very big future ahead of him. There were some 'rumours' of a bust up between the pair earlier in the summer but how true I do not really know to be honest?

That said things do not always work out as planned, step forward Mr Richard Duffy! Maybe we could sell him, loan him, hell, why not give him away even instead! Maybe Charlton might want Djimi Traore back as well...

When I read 'Charlton chase Pompey defender' I thought they must want Djimi back, lol! No objection to Cranie going on loan as it would help him BUT only short term as he will be needed come October onwards. I hear the skeletons rattling already.

I think we should re-name Harry 'Old Mother Hubbard', as the cupboard always seems to be bare for him!

Harry and the 'bare bones' is like Churchill and the 'fight them on the beaches', and Martin Luther King and the 'I have a dream' - it's part of history.

Can you imagine Harry sucking on a cigar quoting the Bible. "We are down to bare bones and I have a dream to sign Ronaldo and Torres even if it means fighting Sir Alex and that Spanish guy on the beach and selling the rest of the team to finance my dream"

yawn.... As for Craine, he has a future so playing for clubs a league below will great foe him. as for Traore we may have to pay him to leave.

Bare bones??!! If thats the case i'd love to see Arry get the following: Right wing - SWP, left wing - Andres D'Allesandro (you know it makes sense Arry!!), center back - Younes Kaboul

I think D'Allesandro has gone back to South America. brazillian team.
