Chix, are too old to be junior blues now? Shame, I wish it was about in my day.

Could someone tell me what the benefits of becoming a Pompey Blue member. And also - just so I don't have to ask the ticket office girls, who will take great delight in saying no - now that I have a season ticket - will I be able to park in that big car park behind the Fratton End? My husband doesn't walk too well any more, and that has been my one problem last season.

I'm not sure about the Pompey Blue membership Gandor but re the car park... Your season ticket doesn't allow access to it per see, so I think you may have to contact the club anyway. That said ... The Car Park is murder to get out of (I know because I walk through it) so if you don use it prepare yourself for a long wait... a lot of people (for reasons that I just don't understand) leave about 10 minutes before the end just so they can get out of that car park... Sounds daft but (depending on where you live) can't you park in a side road and then ring a taxi.... It'l take you along Frogmore Road and drop you near the Car Park and I reckon the cost of taxi v cost of parking wouldn't be too much different .. just a thought ..

I got mine Monday, had a hell of a job and a complete Knop on the end of the phone who told me they had no Memberships available!!!!!????? I asked him to check his details, he then came back and said he'd managed to find me two??? put me on hold again, came back and told me to go through all the details again. put me on hold again! then told me we'd have to do both separately and pay separately. Jeez...put people on the phone who at least had some semblance of the job in hand!! Oh yes and i still haven't received the conformation emails as promised. Grrrrrrrrrrrr

The benefits gandor for me at least include; Pretty much guaranteed a ticket for all home games. guaranteed a ticket for Semi's/Finals as proved this year. I can't get to every Home game so this is perfect for me. It costs me 40 for this peace of mind...Superb value

Thank you for your advice everyone. We have been getting a taxi from home but it is murder trying to get one for the return, even if you stand on the corner where you are supposed to. We will just have to take our chances in the car park. We usually end up walking with Gandor senior moaning and swearing that this is the last time I will every drag him to a football match blah blah blah. Talk about grumpy old men!
