In June Vital Pompey received 2,025,040 hits, which is not bad considering June is a notoriously quiet month. By breaking the 2m barrier again it meant we had done this for a 6th month running, not bad going eh!

This site - much like the Vital Football network full stop - is growing at a phenomenal rate, with our improvement here matching that of Pompey's on and off the pitch so lets keep it going, but for this we must all carry on getting involved - both new and old...

Quicker than 'The News' , faster than the BBC, slicker than SKY, more accurate than Setanta, more sensible than 'Tribal Football' .... As featured on Match of the Day, Meridian News and the Paul O'Grady show .......... quite simply the best Pompey site on the internet..

No More Quarter Final Replays For Pompey

Should Portsmouth progress through to an FA Cup quarter final from the 2016/17 season onwards, the game will no longer be subject to a replay.

On this day in history...27th May

A look back at this day in history, and what was happening with Pompey courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, 27th May.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
