Harry Kewell is all but signed according to all and sundry, Harry has declared an interest for a wide man, so Harry Sheree fit the bill for the tabloids.
Shaun Wright-Phillips is the other wide man of note, this one has been bandied around for a while now, but Harry himself has thrown a bit more credability to it by declaring 'Shaun would be a hit at Fratton, he is my sort of player' but then dampens us back down again with 'but I doubt we could afford his wages, or match what Chelsea would want for him'
If SWP wants regular football then would he take a drop in wages?
Edu is next up, the ex-Arsenal midfielder is in line to leave Valencia after a very lean time in Spain, he made just 15 starts in 3 years, should be fresh then! Edu said: "The interest of English clubs like Portsmouth and Man City is obviously flattering.
"I have amazing memories of the years I spent in England, being the first Brazilian player to win both the Premiership and the FA Cup.
"I feel good at Valencia even after a difficult season but the Premier League is arguably the biggest competition in the world."
The News of the World takes credit for that snippet.
Crouchy, our long time target is to be used in a make-weight to get Robbie Keane to Anfield, but would Keane really end his North London love affair?
Zarate is rumoured to be off to Lazio, he is still connected with us even after Harrys public denials of interest, so it won't be a case of Hi Zarate at Fratton.
Anyone think of a better bet for Fratton?
