Euro 2008 prediction league update #4

Euro 2008 prediction league update #4

With the quarter finals now out of the way, and possibly the best looking bet for the tournament Holland now out it is wide open - but can the same be said about the Euro 2008 predictions league...

With these quarter finals out of the way we can also see that UKTony is still leading the way despite his repeated claims that he will not be able to last the pace - although he is being caught!

Gandor remains the one that is propping up the rest with a big fat zero points... although again I must point out that not many predictions have been made.

This is how top 3 currently stands:
1. UKTony - 69
2. Chix - 57
3. pompeyyong - 56

You can still enter - and remember in the knock out rounds the bonus points on offer are even greater, so join the fun guys, as that is what this is - but you could also win this item...

So I said Portugal. Holland & Croatia would win. They didn't. I got Spain right, only just. So from talking b0ll0x, I predict b0ll0x.

I think Tony has his name on that now. Only 3 games to predict, someone will need a couple of perfect scores to catch him.

Is there not a 3rd & 4th place play-off ... I'm banking on another game to try and whittle down that lead..

    Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.
