Boxing Day kick off time changed

The Pompey Site has confirmed that the kick off time for our Boxing Day game, which may seem a long way off yet, but will soon be here, against West Ham - something that has almost become tradition now with this the 2nd time in 3 seasons we see this on that day - has changed.

Originally scheduled for 3pm it will now kick off at 1pm.

I for one know that I have virtually no chance of getting to this game regardless of kick off time, as unless I walk I very much doubt I can get to Pompey - and as much as going to the game does appeal to me, walking from Devon does not to me to be honest! Besides, as Christmas is a family time not spending this with my immediate family is not an option for me, and this is what I would have to do to make this game - it would mean travelling before Christmas Day...

Will this change in kick off time make it harder or easier for others, or does it make no difference?

The first change of many. No doubt we will have more games moved than have planned for Saturday 3pm. we know all UEFA games will mean a Sunday kick off. Sky & Sentana havn't said there lot yet. You can't help but think that we may be a popular team for them. the price of fame, we shouldn't moan really.

It will be great for me. I always get invited out on Boxing Day, so I can get to the match first and go on afterwards, rather than eating a lunch someone has cooked for me and then rushing off to the football (couldn't really do that.......... could you)?

I always enjoy the 12pm kick offs on Boxing Day. Gives you a chance to blow off (literally) the cob webs of Christmas Day.

Here 'ere get the game out of the way and get on with the Yuletide celebrations not like last year's 8pm kick off.

Yes early start on boxing day better than late, don't mind this change.
