Do we smell a signing coming...

Has anyone ever noticed that when the 'speculation', which has reached boiling point over the weeks, seems to die off slightly, this happens just before we announce a new signing?

Well the 'links', although still about, have died off quite a lot in the past few days, with the 'denials' and talk from the likes of Harry Redknapp and Peter Storrie also cooling - could this mean that our first signing of the summer is just around the corner perhaps?

Obviously I do not know this for a fact, but it is something that I have often observed just before a signing is announced - Peter Crouch anyone...

I wonder how does the signing smell? Of ink on the contract maybe? :)

Patience my friends, the players will fall into place. Pompey's credability has never been higher.

We always seem to do a press release on Fridays, so absolutely no doubt Meridian Tonight will be the first to release the big announcement.

One website has Liverpool wanting Diarra if they can't nail Gareth Barry. That would be awkward for us if it has some truth???!!!

I wouldn't worry there Matt, Barry is a certainty to be playing in red next season.

I have a feeling that a double signing may happen tomorrow Friday 27th. An announcement on either Dunne and Solano or Crouch and Solano. If this happens can people let me know as I am away from my computer again all day! Loads of you have my number though, so keep me updated please.
