Remaining 2000 season tickets on sale

The final 2000 Pompey season tickets for the 2008/09 season have today gone on general sale.

The Pompey Site had this to say about the matter...

PLAY UP POMPEY!

==========

SEASON TICKETS ON SALE

Pompey's remaining 2,000 season tickets went on sale today.

Queues formed at the club's ticket office in Anson Road as supporters sought to get the best seats.

There are no season tickets available in the Milton end, while the only seats on sale in the Family Enclosure and C section of the south stand are restricted view.

But seats are available in all other parts of Fratton Park.

Although they can be purchased over the phone, supporters are strongly recommended to buy their season tickets in person from the club's ticket office in Anson Road.

Today and tomorrow supporters who come to the ticket office in person will have the option of being shown their chosen seat in the ground.

The club is pleased to inform supporters that the successful five-month, interest-free scheme to spread the cost of a season ticket will remain available.

Supporters pay a reservation fee of £20 and then the rest of the cost of the season ticket in five equal payments.

When coming to buy their season tickets, fans should complete a finance application form, available from the ticket office.

More than 1,800 fans have already taken advantage of finance schemes, run by PFC Financial Services, to help pay for their 2008/9 season tickets.

Perry Scott, General Manager of PFC Financial Services, said: "The feedback received has been particularly welcome as fans have told us these schemes have been a real help in these times of increased living costs."

Pompey have already sold more than 14,000 season tickets, an increase on last season.
Season ticket prices:

South A/D; North E/G: Adult £705; Senior/Young Person £500; Junior £380.
South B/C; North F: Adult £770; Senior/Young Person £550; Junior £415.
Family Enclosure: Adult £600; Senior/Young Person £320; Junior £190.
North Lower: Adult £705, Senior/Young Person £500; Junior £380.
West Stand: Adult £705, Senior/Young Person £500; Junior £380.

Sorry to hear sneakay that the finances won't stretch to an ST. Go to the non TV games is the best bet.

I'm still waiting to hear about my season ticket although the money has been taken from my account, so I am not too worried. When does anyone think we will get them - only ten weeks to go!

it was very much last minute stuff last year Gandor, although in saying that it was the first time the new machine readable cards were issued.

Good advice Dave. I have already started a new saving fund for next seasons ST! If I start now I should easily have enough by then. :)

Season Ticket for me next year as well sneaky with any luck. Though if my clients keep using this credit crunch as an excuse anymore then 2020/21 season looking good :-(

If you were a season ticket holder last year keep your card, as I don't think they will issue a new one, they will reactivate last seasons card, but you can get a new card if you have lost it, but at a cost to you.
