'I'm a season ticket holder me'

I am a season Pompey ticket holder, not my vote, yours - although these findings from pentonpompey's poll are thoughts that I can agree with 100% again now!

In order to get a better feel for how Vital Pompey's membership go about following Pompey the question was asked and from those that did vote exactly half of us are season ticket holders - something which I can now again proudly claim to be after to many years absence of not having one.

Last season, and in the more recent seasons prior I had to forgo my season ticket so I fell into the 'occasional ticket', 'watch on SKY etc', 'listen via Radio' and so on categories.

Having well and truly re-captured the buzz that you get from the whole match day experience - which I do not care what anyone says, as expensive as it might now be you cannot beat it! - last season thanks to being able to arrange travelling from my Devon base with some of Vital Pompey's membership, and through these making contact with my old travelling companions again I was able to make around 15 games, which is not bad for someone that is skint, does not drive and as said is based in Devon...

Next season will be a challenge, as a lot of long journeys will need to be made by train - and probably on my own - but will it be worth it? Hell yea!

Come on then, lets see a show of hands from those that did vote - how do you go about following Pompey?

What the poll asked - Just to get a feel for the Vital membership, how do we subscribe to watching our beloved Pompey?

How you voted - Season Ticket holder 50%, Occasional Ticket 21%, Watch SKY etc 14%, Blue Army Member 8%, Never Watch/listen 5%, Listen via Radio 2%, Junior member 0%

Current Poll - 'We're all going on a European tour, a European tour, a European tour'... or will we?

We embark on our first ever foray into Europe next season with our participation on the uefa cup, but is this an adventure you will be following Pompey with - this is what pentonpompey, who seems to be having somewhat of a monopoly on the 'poll suggestions' at the moment so get some ideas in like he is, wants to know with this - 'How many of the Vital Pompey members will be travelling in the up and coming UEFA Cup campaign?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

& for the last 16 seasons, even when average gates were under 10,000. Where were you when we were 5hi1?

Never watch or listen 5% what's that all about ? I can understand some people may live in remote areas, but not that many surely.

I reckon so carpet - but I bet they still watch us when we play them! I am having to miss out on the season ticket this season as the maths do not add up. It does mean though that I can work a few Saturdays and put money into my season ticket account for next year!

Still not going to be a season ticket holder this season, but possibly 2009-10. Like Sneakay I've set up a season ticket savings. Planning a few key away games this season as well as several home games, will be able to start to plan properly when the fixtures come out next week. Also I'm hoping to go away in the UEFA cup but it all depends who/when/where. If we draw Galataseray I'm not going!
