With my loyalty to Vital Football - after all you do not bite the hand that feeds you so to speak - originally I was not keen on 'promoting' another fantasy football game, as of course Vital Football has its own.
However with no home nations interest it was decided against doing one and agreed that by using the official Euro 2008 fantasy football game this would be ok, so I decided I could not resist and gave into temptation and registered a team in a league created by jbaker something he shared in the forum.
So I have now decided to extend his invitation into the league to the main pages of Vital Pompey, not limit it to a thread in the forum as it may well have been lost.
I think 4 of us have so far entered teams but lets get more in to see who is 'king of the fantasy world' and find out who will have the bragging rights for the coming weeks and months - unless you get a team in you will never know!
It is quite easy to pick a team but I found that if you did an 'auto select' and let it pick a team for you then you at least get some inspiration and rework it from there, of course I have Ronaldo, Henry, Torres, Puyol and co in my side... or do I? The only way you will ever know is by signing up, so it is over to jbaker to explain more...
==========
I was making a team on the official Uefa Euro 2008 Fantasy Football website, when I realised that VP don't have one yet.
I was quite happy to make a league for VP members so everyone can join and have fun.
It uses the premierleague.com engine, which is from my experience the easiest and best one (apart from the Vital Football one of course!)
Use this link http://en.fantasy.euro2008.uefa.com/ and then click on register and simply follow instructions to register and then select a team.
Once a team is selected click on the leagues section and join the Vital Pompey one by entering the code required.
The league code is: 77347-14829.

Steve C, I agree with your comment about the vital fantasy football. Looks like they could do with changing the engine running it to one slightly more exciting.
