Another Chelski player targeted/Muntari to Juve
The list of Chelski players that we are 'targeting' has risen yet further with teenage striker Ben Sahar the latest name added to the 'linked to Pompey' column...
Successful loan spells with QPR and Wednesday last season have seen the Israeli international's stock rise and this has brought about a somewhat surprising 'link' with us to be honest, with the suggestion being that we would take him on loan for the season with 'the view to a permanent move' next summer.
Should this move happen it is also claimed that a counter move could see Dave Nugent make the reported move to Hull either on a permanent £3m basis or perhaps on loan for the season?
The other Chelski players linked over the weekend were of course Shaun Wright-Phillips and then latterly Wayne Bridge, with the suggestion again with him being a season loan move being the order here.

Every now and again talk linking Sulley Muntari with a move away from Pompey comes about, and if this is just 'recycled news' or not links are being reported again...
This time - if this is a fresh 'link' and not a 'reused one' - it is Juventus again that are looking at taking the Ghanaian back to Italy, with the reports claiming that he is viewed as a cheaper alternative to their number one priority Xabi Alonso.
As I have previously said, whilst I do think Muntari 'might' be one of those that could be parted with if the price was right I would be surprised if he was not with us again next season - a season when we will see the very best of him on a more consistent basis I feel sure.

Actually Rug when Harry was on the radio a couple of days ago he did say that there was "a forward he had seen a few times and a defender from the fizzy league that had really caught his eye and he was thinking about maybe trying to do something" he also said that "the fans might be a bit surprised" so perhapse this one is real

i agree with you about Muntari, i dont think Nugent will go for £3mill, harry will want to get more than half his money back, i think it would most likely be a loan deal with a fixed fee at the end

ah, but did i say the sahar deal wouldnt happen... the defender i would guess is that benfica defender that was on loan at palace last season?

yep fan of blues you got it; we take em, dont ignore em cos our owner didnt pick em, we give em back some confidence and turn em into trophy winning international footballers; seems to work quite well

personally id take pizzaro and thats it :p as for article ,, never heard of the chap ... any info? nugent should go on loan (perfect answer to seeing if hes good enough for prem and suits hull as they must be quite cash strapped!), i dont want muntari to go and i think if clubs like juve are sniffing him then we should definitely keep our hands on him! (no sexual references intented whatsoever!)

lol b happy to ben haim or pizzaro bt nt sidwell think hes far 2 over rated dunno just my opinion. bt on the article i dn't think we really should b concentratin on the young strikers tht will come around in the next couple of years this season surely we should just concentrate on building the squad 4 europe this summer and gettin PROVEN players bt def chuck nugent on loan with a call bck clause =) oh ad gt to keep muntari he'll b even better nxt season mark my words (i hope)

Well first we took Spurs,then moved on to Arsenal so its only natural to move on up to Chelsea, yes we like London. Hey Fan of Blues any chance of Drogba or Frank to come down & stay with Uncle Arry ha ha!

muntari won't leave us - he turned down juve to come to us, he won't now move away... and as for chelsea... we are even starting to play like them! sadley, that is not always a good thing...

I would be happy just to go for SWP to be honest. Not sure we need another unproven striker at the moment.

All this speculation just adds to the spice that is the summer without league football. Though June also brings the Euros & the fixture list in about 3 weeks time.

Chelsea as our feeder club... How things have changed... I'd take SWp , Sahar and Bridge.. Not sure about Muntari going though it might extend Diop's stay !
