Crouch will be back!

Crouch will be back!

Peter Crouch will return to Pompey this summer, not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I completely agree with to be honest.

It is no secret that Harry Redknapp wants Crouch back at Pompey, and it is also no secret that I would be delighted if he did return to play alongside Jermain Defoe - a fella that has also expressed his desire to play with him too, something that he did for England against Trinidad & Tobago on Sunday night, a pairing that yielded a goal.

Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez was asking a ridiculous £15m for him but has now decided to lower this valuation so there is a good chance that we will bring him back to the South Coast in the coming weeks...

What the poll asked - Do you think we will re-sign Crouchy this summer?

How you voted - Yes 60%, No, Rafa's asking too much 25%, I do not want him back anyway... 9%, He will see out his contract then leave on a free 6%

Current Poll - Who will be the first sacrificial lamb to fund some of the summer arrivals?

As much as we would like to see all players kept, realistically we will have to let some go to help fund moves for others but who will be the first one to make way this summer - this is what pentonpompey wants to know with this - 'As we have to balance the books, whom do we think will be the first name this summer to leave Pompey?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

I think Crouchy will be here as well - especially as he's had 10 days in the company of Pompey's 3 Lions who are loving it at the moment. I'm also hoping there's some truth in the rumour of SWP - I think he'd be a great signing for us.

Half an England team if those two signings come off. Still can't believe how far we've come! (Sorry, didn't mean to sound like 'Arry).
