Champions league - Could not give a ****
I could not give a **** who wins the champions league tonight, not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts that I agree with mostly to be honest.
In saying that I do not care who wins this is not to say that like our 'friend' who came onto the site the other day that I feel it is a 'non-event' final - I merely do not really care who wins as both teams are English so the English game wins regardless... hopefully.
All I hope for is an entertaining game that does the English game proud and the team that is most deserving of the win gets it, although to be honest I am not expecting it to be that great a spectacle. If the FA cup final from the other year is anything to go by when the sides met we could be in for a long night!
If I had to pick one, then I would have to say Chelski as Manyoo have already won the league and it would also be good for Avram Grant as it would shut up some of his 'knockers' by winning Chelski's most sought after prize - a prize that not even 'the special one' was ever able to capture...

Everyone involved in the squad at the weekend were heroes, the 14 that played that part over the 90 minutes were all fantastic but if you had to pick out one man as our man of the match who would it be - this is what we want to know with this - 'Man of the match against Cardiff?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

The worst thing about tonights game is that it clashes with the apprentice! I can't watch it later either as it's Wednesday which means Reaper and The Big Bang Theory on E4! I'm such a looser I know. lol

Can't believe the media coverage. OK, I accept it's the number one sports story and that's fair enough... but the number one NEWS story? Come on, it's a football match. More important than events in China and Burma or the vote on abortion laws? Jeezus...the media in this country is the pits. The way they were going on about it this morning you'd have thought there were two types of people in the UK; either Chelsea or Man Utd fans.

I do care because it shows how difficult our own league is. We finished 8th & probably would have finished higher if not fot the fabulous distraction that is the FA Cup. We took points of both these teams & stuffed Utd on the way to our cup glory. This match does reflect on us & reflects very well. PS. I hope Chelsea win. All things blue & southern. For Nephew Frank & ex-employee Avram.

Avram over Ferguson every time for me. Whatever happened to the "FA" investigation of Ferguson regarding his comments following the Pompey cup match. This seems to be on the back burner!!

What happened to all the supporters of European football? Do you only support it when Pompey are playing. If so then that puts you in the same class as all of those who rubbished the FA Cup because one of the top 4 wasn't involved. At least I have said all along I don't give a ***** about European football even if Pompey are playing.

Well done to utd, I live in London and dont think I could have handled the gloating if Chelsea had won!! Besides, Pompey are the true blues!!!!!!

I cannot believe the news coverage this morning. The Daily Mail has 96 pages and 10 of them were all about the Match. Talk about overkill! However, some of it made sense. Derek Lawrenson said "For me, the Champions League Final is unquestionably the hight point of the football calendar. Nothing is normally allowed to get in the way of tuning in to the ultimate occasion in the game Club. But ManU v Chelsea? Do me a favour. Who are we supposed to root for - the club founded on loadsahype or the one built on loadsamoney? (I'm being a bit spiteful when I say I noted on tonights News that Man U are not getting a Victory Parade when they get home.........)

FA - many people have said they dont care about european footbal here... anyway, the highlight of the game was when the ITV comentator called lampard redknapp...they do look similer dont they!

Rug, I said 'you' originally as a term to cover all the posters who made the comment. The article only refers to you as it being your poll but from that I assume someone else wrote the article and tacked their opinion to it as there is nowhere that you are mentioned as the writer. If you want to take it personally then go ahead.
