FFC Survey On Grassroots Football

Dear Football fan

We're running a short survey touching on some areas of grassroots football (defined by UEFA as 'all football which is non-professional and non-elite').

We'd appreciate your insight and there's an opportunity at the end of the survey to make suggestions for future surveys in this area.

These guys do a lot of surveys! Does anything ever come from them though?

Yep, more jobs for the guys who do the research. It ain't rocket science; they stopped competitive sport in many schools, sold the playing fields...how's that for staters? Stop spending the money on these futile surveys and do something positive to support the game at grass-roots levels.

clearly we live in a different part of the world ninjatim. i have just had a nice little rant on the vital chelsea site about a similer topic - grass roots football in my area has (probably) never been stronger. attendace at my local club has gone through the roof - a club that owns 6 pitches (i think) and has access to another 6. competes at almost all levels, from a south surrey league - with an impressive 10 devisions at u10 level - to a southern england (i belevie) league at u16. but more to the point, there are at least...has a long think about this one... probably 20 other smilarly sized clubs within 20 minutes of where i live...

Carpet, All valid points and I accept what you say but we're not as far forward as we would be if football had not been taken off the curriculum at many schools and if numerous local authorities had not sold off the playing fields.
