Poor turn-out for Victory parade

Poor turn-out for Victory parade

I'm sure Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U are laughing at us today, first Pompey churlishly win the cup, and then only a couple of hundred thousand could be bothered to see the upstarts parade the cup through the City streets.

The fans have let the club down again, we should withdraw from the Uefa cup immeadiately and let one of the bigger clubs take our place.

Pompey fans hang your heads in shame!

...and another thing, the Pompey & Cardiff fans should be ashamed for being so raucous - where's their sense of decorum. Fancy singing throughout the Cup Final - whatever next?

well done pompey as an Arsenal fan I am deligthed to see our old boy's win the FA cup with your club and it was about time that one of the so called smaller clubs won the trophy, at least your fans sing in support of theyr team win or loose. Best of luck in europe and see you in the prem next season.

oh, only 1/4 million? thats...hold on *checks 2001 census*...onl;y 70 000 more than the population of portsmouth! really? where have all our "supporters" gone? (although it is a shame we cant sell out 20 000 every game...)

Not a tine to be cynical pc but I agree. This is a time to rejoice the greatest footballing momemt of our lives. After 30+ years in a 4 divisions I witness us winning the FA Cup at Wembley & the parade to the seafront. You may have seen a grown man cry. I am emotionally wrecked. Forever Pompey.

Proud weekend for any Pompey fan, I firmly believe a bigger ground would see an average around 25,000, the bigger games would get 30+, but todays turnout showed the depth of support in the City and surrounding areas

With Stevenage drawing and Blackpool the only potential challenger winning we've got a six point cushion on Boro that's effectively seven given our superior goal difference.
