Where to drink before/after the cup final?

Where to drink before/after the cup final?

The FA cup final is fast approaching now, no doubt we are all getting very excited, I know that I am as the realisation that we 'are in the cup final' is now fully 100% kicking in big time! But we have to get our priorities sorted do we not with such things as 'where are we drinking before the cup final'...

Cheshirepompey has managed to supply us information on the pubs that Pompey fans have been allocated, and as such will be welcomed to in around the area on Saturday - so here they are:

Name of Pub or Bar...Address...Entry time
Blarney Stone - Blackbird Hill, Kingsbury, London NW9 8RR - 09:00
Blue Eyes - First Floor, New Light Complex, South Way, Wembley - 10:00
Carramore - 238 North Circular Rd, Stonebridge - 10:00
Crock of Gold - 23 Bridge Rd, Wembley, Middx. HA9 9AB - 10:00
Moore Spice - Wembley Retail Park, Unit 2 Engineers Way, Wembley, HA9 0EH - 09:00
Premier Inn - 151 Wembley Park Drive, HA9 8HQ - 10:00
Silverspoon - Sinitron Hse, South Way, Wembley, Middx. - 10:00
The Green Man - Dagmar Ave, Wembley, Middx HA9 8DF - 10:00
The Parish - 120 Wembley Park Drive, Wembley, Middx. HA9 8HP - 10:00
The Torch - 1-5 Bridge Rd, Wembley Middx. - 10:00
Wembley Park Sports and Social Club - Forty Avenue, Wembley, HA9 9JR - 10:00

I have heard that The Torch is a good one, so for Pompey to have been assigned this one is bonus, but suggestions are welcome. I have no doubt that somewhere suitable for a meeting can be found - so fire away guys...

UPDATE: So guys are we all happy with making The Touch the meeting place prior to the cup final?

I have to meet some long time travel companions and my sister, so this is where I will be - anyone who wants to join me give me a shout... If needed I will pass on my contact details, via email of course!

it'll be a celebration! the torch is the one that im getting the best vibes from, and these are coming from frequent visitors to wembley...

I've heard the Angel in Andover is good for me!! Ha Ha....Have a superb time boys wherever you end up!
13/05/2008 16:31:00
I am up for where ever. Didn't get a chance to meet anyone last time coz I came in at Wembley Park - so the torch would be perfect for that!

This is a top bar too - First Class Sports Bar, Its only a few mins walk away from Wembley Central Tube. Although it looks small from the front its got a huge marquee out the back & burger van AND it doesn't take long to get served. Its Pompey only on Saturday.
13/05/2008 16:57:00
One other thing I found out - all bars in Wembley Park are Pompey & all bars in Wembley Central are Cardiff, by order of the Met police
13/05/2008 16:59:00
Where did you find that out holdz? The article that Cheshirepompey found suggested that the first class sports bar was for either team and tickets only. I was in there after the semi and it was a great place to be - easily fitting in a few hundred people to the marquee. Does someone fancy checking with them? I have looked up the number but can't call till I finish work. 0208 900 00 96. Sorry Rug not trying to advertise.
13/05/2008 17:03:00
Rug; just say the word and we'll be there; Sneakay/me/Chix(?) are hoping to meet up at Waterloo so can arrive a the pub together.
13/05/2008 18:14:00
Rug, make a decision and we'll be there!!!
13/05/2008 18:53:00
Tony, Chix is travelling up from Pompey I believe, in fact I know because he told me on Sunday.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
