Dear Vital Pompey Members

In the run up to the FA Cup Final eastneydave and his 'team' are planning to run a number of special articles for Vital Pompey.

One they want to do is to tell the world where you will watch the game, so 'those throughout the world not going where will you watch it and at what time?' This is open to those in the UK and overseas, these overseas thoughts will be especially interesting.

If you would let me have any anecdotes, comments, good wishes in fact anything you would like to say and I will pass them on to Dave.

He tells me he will appreciate all contributions and will try to include them all in the Final Toast Specials.

If you are interested, simply send an email to this address portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk and I will, as said, pass your thoughts onto 'the Toast team'

Hey WWGod, my favourite place on earth!! Have you been before? I expect they will have it on Fox sports out there. Not so many bars to be found showing it tho:( If you haven't been before don't miss Fantasmic at MGM, simply fantastic! I've been 6 times now, and never tire of it!

WWG; Mickey Mouseland seems an appropriate place for you to be if you think Cardiff will win.

Unless God has other ideas, I'll be there behind the goal with my brother, same seats as for the semi. Not very far from the Champagne bar. The benefits of club Wembley. Most of my friends are dotted around the ground. I'll have family in the UK & Malta tuned. For those unfortunate souls how have met me in their lives, I trust amongst the impressions I left, usually not good, was that I am Pompey. think of me, think Pompey. I hope come Saturday I will enter a lot of peoples minds.

I live in NZ and at my workplace of last year on a floor of 200 people there were 3 Pompey Fans - 2 who lived in Pompey as youngsters and 1 whose mother was born and lived there. We're all getting together for the final in the middle of the night, looking forward to it immensely !

No More Quarter Final Replays For Pompey

Should Portsmouth progress through to an FA Cup quarter final from the 2016/17 season onwards, the game will no longer be subject to a replay.

On this day in history...27th May

A look back at this day in history, and what was happening with Pompey courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, 27th May.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
