'Are you Quashie in disguise?' This is something that Papa Bouba Diop must have heard several dozen times this season - some might say harshly so but it is official, he has the worst shot in the top flight... and by some way.

Having unleashed a mighty 46 attempts at goal - and that is just with his feet, we might be able to almost double it if we added the attempts with his head! - he has failed to hit the back of the net once, in all honesty he has troubled those in the stands more than the keepers!

Can Diop pinch a goal in the final couple of games of the season or will he officially be crowned setanta sports 'The Golden Shot King' this season? Even if he does score I would expect him to raise his bat aloft having reached his half-century first though!

Harry Redknapp leapt to his defence last week and whilst he does have an undoubted presence in midfield and does do some good work that can go unnoticed for me he has not done enough of the basics - and I am not even talking about shooting, as that is not a basic as such, well not always! - to justify a continued place in the starting 11 week after week after week, but then again maybe we would notice a difference if he was not playing...
