Pompey competition update #35

Vital Fantasy Football - 'Pompey mini league'

There was no change in the Vital Fantasy Football 'Pompey mini league' this week but not at top spot, Crazy Cats retained this for a 4th week running on 1305pts in total. The change saw maradona_kebab in climb into 2nd spot on 1258pts in total which meant The Pompey Chimes dropped a place to 3rd this week with 1251pts in total.

Crazy Cats, maradona_kebab and The Pompey Chimes are all still in the top 50 of over 4900 entries overall - in 3rd, 37th and 45th places respectively - congratulations fellas.

I know it is a bit late in the day now but you can still enter a team starting in the penultimate round of games by going to www.vitalfantasyfootball.co.uk. If you do, also get yourself into the mini league to by using these details.

'Pompey predictions league'

Again a disappointing week in the Pompey Predictions League for the Blackburn game...

Only pompeygray, pompeycarpet and pentonpompey gained any points this week, each picking up 2pts being for correctly predicting a defeat.

This meant no change again in the top 3 as steaming remained top for a 6th game running, remaining on 83pts overall. Pompeyrug retained 2nd spot, also for a 6th game running, staying on 74pts overall. Chix kept 3rd spot for a 13th game running staying 70pts in total.

The Blackburn game also saw the end of the month, so it is monthly winner time again. In what was a poor month frattonaussie, pentonpompey and pompeygray shared this scoring a measly 4pts each throughout April. They therefore have their hats thrown into the ring for a chance to win a bonus prize.

The season may be drawing to a close now, but if you missed out on predicting for the Blackburn game, as well as any others it is never too late - just start with your predictions for the penultimate game at Boro on Saturday. So if you have not already made your predictions on this game with Boro do it here.
