Crouch worth the money and wages

Crouch worth the money and wages

Peter Crouch would be worth the costs of a transfer and wages should Pompey sign him, not my vote, yours - although these findings from pompeysno.9's poll are thoughts that I agree with, mostly...

A reported £8m would be needed to bring Crouch back to Fratton this summer, with a further reported £60,000 per week needed in wages, which would be almost double what he is said to be on at Liverpool at the moment.

I am a fan of Crouch as I thought he was fantastic when we had him first time round - several years later I feel he is an even better player and would be worth bringing back, and would be an improvement to our side but we are talking a lot of money… but then again the bigger and better we become the more we will have to pay in transfer fees and wages anyway.

What the poll asked - Would Peter Crouch be worth an £8 million transfer fee and £60,000 a week wages?

How you voted - Yes 65%, No 35%

Current Poll - We can get right back into the race for 5th if we win tomorrow, but will we beat Citeh?

What can we do against Citeh away tomorrow? In order to get well and truly into the race for 5th we must win, but can we do this - this is what pompeyrug wants to know with this - 'Pompey v Citeh?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

I'm warming to him, the thought of crouch, defoe and lopez at our club is pretty exciting.

a younger english Kanu..... no thanks. Not a fan of his style of play, his big headedness or his I'm better than this attitude. BUT, I think he's on his way so if he wears the blue I'l get behind him .....lanky streak of ***** that he is.... Give me Lopez any (no every) day of the week.

Match highlights - Hartlepool 0-2 Pompey

The slim chances of a top 3 finish ended, despite a win at Hartlepool. Wins for Accrington, Oxford and Bristol Rovers meant Pompey cannot finish higher than our current 5th place.
