Harry: Give me a chance

Harry: Give me a chance

Harry has told the national paper that he would take Pompey back up if he was given the chance.

'I will take responsibility if we go down and, God forbid that happens, I will bring the club back up or die trying if I'm allowed to.'

'If people think I'm going looking for excuses they don't know me,' Redknapp told The Sunday Mirror.

'Nobody needs to talk to me about pressure, try talking to my poor wife,' added Redknapp.

'I can't sleep, everything is going round and round in my head and the wife is worried sick I'm going to drop down dead at any moment.

'I'll be damned if I do and damned if I don't, it's as simple as that.

'Naturally I'm disappointed that we've struggled but I will not throw in the towel. I will battle on like my life depends on it.

'Nothing will give me greater pleasure if I can keep this club up and without any exaggeration it will rank among my biggest achievements in the game.'

Yes me too, because it will vindicate him should he go on to get us back into (or better still remain in) the Prem. League.

Its time to put the Judas and Scummer taunts in the cupboard and unite behind Harry and the good times. If we have to take a step back, we should step back With Harry not against him. He does love this club, unfortunately some fans refuse to believe it. I want him here too, its about time Milan got to hear the Possitve Fans Views, and not just the negative ones views

Harry "The Saviour" Redknapp The only manager who could and would take up the challenge of saving us. He needs more time to rebuild.

Harry has the knowledge in how to get back into the Premiership if we went down. He is also the best manager in persuding players to stay at this club so hopefully the back bone of our players wouldn't be sold.

Isnt it about time we ALL stood united behind the team and the Leader? That is Harry. Are we really too stupid, and too stubbourn to let Harry Mistake haunt both Him and us forever? We need to get behind harry now, and show HIM support, for showing faith. We need to hear Harry Redknapps Blue and White Army, ringing out from the rafters, so that the Premiership know WE ARE BACK, WE ARE UNITED, WE ARE ONE, WE ARE UNDIVIDED. Too bad if Johnny Westwood isnt happy about it, he should think himself lucky that Milan spoke up in his favour so he could still watch Pompey play. HARRY REDKNAPPS BLUE AND WHITE ARMY... Clap Clap... Clap Calp Calp. you know you miss hearing it too....

Big Ben returns!

There's no doubting how important Davies is to us, we most definitely missed the former Sheffield United man against Orient but Cook's confirmed he'll start against Bristol Rovers.

Winning over the fans

Cook feels he still has to 'win over a proportion' of the fans at Pompey?

Tubbs surprised...in a way he has a point

5-goals in a combined total of 8-matches isn't a bad return is it so having made his move to Eastleigh this week I get Tubbs' point at his surprise Cook wasn't selecting him.

Pompey Predictions League - update no.28

The Pompey predictions league is very much part of this site now! This continued with a defeat to Orient last Saturday.
