Phase 2 sells out in under an hour!

Phase 2 sells out in under an hour!

The 4,000 phase 2 semi final tickets that went on sale this morning at 6am sold out within the hour!

The fact that is was Easter Monday on this bank holiday weekend made no difference and the demand for tickets was incredibly high, so the 4,000 that were on offer to season ticket holders, at an amount of 2 per ticket holder went within the hour…

The postal ballot phase 3 applications for the United, Birmingham and Villa ticket stubs are now being processed and these will be allocated this week, with the final 6,500 tickets going on general sale in phase 4 on Thursday morning at 6am, again only available through Ticketmaster - but these will also sell out in no time.

Here are the details, as previously released on the Pompey Site for the phase 4 tickets, best of luck to everyone that is still desperately trying to get hold of them, if you truly deserve them I hope that the gods are shining down on you when you call through on Thursday…

Fourth Phase:
6,500 tickets will then go on general sale from 6am on Thursday, March 27 until midnight on Wednesday, April 2. There is a maximum of two tickets per person and you must be on the current PFC database to be eligible for these tickets.

Tickets will cost £55, £45, £35 and £25 for adults and £45, £35, £25 and £15 for concessions (16 and under, over 60 or students with a valid NUS card).

These tickets are only available through Ticketmaster on 0844 847 1898.

And who said we 'would have trouble selling our allocation', I never for one second had any doubts that we would do this, we could have sold out our allocation twice over, to be honest I reckon we could have sold out every seat in the stadium!

So my Dad, my brother, two uncles, an aunt and four cousins all have their tickets. And I still don't have mine. Wasn't successful this morning either. Grr!

Go t up 5.30am, ready to phone. At 6.04am after 25 engaged tones, I got an automated voice telling to press this & that button. Followed by 'I'm sorry there is no one available to take your call'. This happened again 15 mins later & 25 mins later I get the 'Sold Out' message. Yes as a season ticket holder I have mine but of course we all have other family & friends who arn't. A frustrating game of telephone chance!

As someone who has hardly missed a home game since 1970 and a long term season ticket holder I can't help but feel slightly agrieved that I have only managed to get one £25 ticket after hours spent telephoning Ticket Master. Especially as those who receive tickets in phase 3 are getting £45 tickets even though they may have only ever attended one home Pompey match ever! If we get to the final I hope Pompey will try harder to ensure that season ticket holders and the fans who follow them all over the country are the ones who get the best seats. Having got that off of my chest I realise that I am lucky to be going at all and I hope that all those who deserve to be there get to Wembley too. Good luck!

Good luck to everyone who has to enter the scramble for tickets on Thursday morning. I was very happy when I checked my account and saw that my phase 3 ticket application has been processed. Everyone who does have a ticket should be happy, and if you are a season ticket holder you also know you should be OK if we get to the final too.

I agree with you, half pint, as a season ticket holder for many years, I have got one ticket. My son who also had a season ticket until he went to Derby Uni can't get one despite coming to games when he's on The Island. The fault, however is only mildly with the Club as Wem-ber-ly have taken over 20,000 tickets! What??!!! it's only a bleedin' semi-final - if we were at old trafford instead we would probably have had a slightly bigger allocation, and that in a smaller stadium! I got up at 5.15 on a bank holiday, on my birthday, rang continuously for one and a half hours with fek all response until I was told they were sold out. I just think (well I'm bound to, aren't I?) that 12 years of between 1 and 3 season tickets per year entitles me to something other than one poxy ticket. I'm sure there are loads of you reading this thinking 'the git should be grateful he's got one' well I deserve two. I wonder for how long and what time I'll have to start ringing for the final tickets? I'm starting NOW to avoid dissappointment - see, even my spellings gone to rat ****. Yours sincerely, My Angry's friend, Mr Naffed off.

Always going to be a nightmare with Ticketdisaster in charge. Looks like the TV for me as I'm off to Paris tomorrow to watch the England game and won't be around to make the call on Thursday. Could have had 2 prawn sandwich brigade tickets through a mate but didn't want to sell my soul to the devil! Good luck everyone
