Milan Baros is pleased with his form so far, but is most definitely keen to pull one over his former club Villa this weekend when they come to Fratton Park as he has told The News:'it's a shame I haven't scored but at least I was involved with some goals against Birmingham.
'I felt good in that match, I thought I did well and I am enjoying it.
'But I need to start scoring goals now for Portsmouth.
'The team is playing well in the league and we are now in the FA Cup semi-finals, so that is going very well, we are happy with that.
'But for me I want to score goals, it is what I am about and I need to start contributing to the team in that way.
'I am not upset over my form. I feel I have done fine in matches since I arrived here.
'It would be great to score my first Portsmouth goal against Villa and in front of the home fans, that is what I would like to do.
'It was mutual agreement when I left Villa. I was not part of Martin O'Neill's plans, I have no problems with that.
'Now I am enjoying myself here and hopefully the goals will come'.
Baros has had his moments for us so far, he looked good to me when we played Chelski and was also very impressive when he came on against United last weekend, but against Birmingham on Wednesday night I thought he had his best game, he worked tirelessly, never gave up and rightly got a good ovation when he came off - I thought he deserved a goal really to be honest.
I hope that Harry Redknapp sticks with him and Jermain Defoe again in a 4-4-2, but that leaves the problematic right sided midfield place to contend with, John Utaka could come in as Papa Bouba Diop cannot play that role - as we all know though, that leaves us exposed defensively so it could be Lauren, but as we all keep saying if it were the case play him at right back and Glen Johnson in right midfield…
Either way, as I say I hope Baros gets another start as he is beginning to show signs that he could look the part again, he just needs a goal to get thing going, and what better way than against his old team tomorrow!
