'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Redknapp on road to Wembley (AUDIO)

The last time Portsmouth reached an FA Cup Final they won it at Wembley. However few fans would recall the occasion with that victory pre-empting World War II by a few months!

Portsmouth's almost miraculous defending at times was just that - Man United could simply not find a way through even when on two instances, David James was bypassed in goal. Goal line clearances from Glen Johnson and Sylvain Distin gave the feeling that it was going to be Pompey's day and in fact, Pompey's cup.

And when substitute Milan Baros was brought down through on goal, Sulley Muntari's 78th minute penalty made that inclination a reality.

Speaking after the game, Harry Redknapp could not hide his excitement.

I'll listen to the interview if it is in English and not Harryspeak as he was excited.

I know we shouldn't be bothered who we get but I'd rather avoid WBA. They are by far better that Cardiff & Barnsley.
