'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pompey games switched

TV has flexed its muscle again, meaning 2 fixtures; originally due for 3pm kick offs on Saturday afternoons will be changed to Sundays for live coverage.

The trip to Man City has been put back a day, so will now take place on Sunday 20th April, kicking off at 4pm - this is a game that I am meant to be going to, so hopefully this will not make any difference...

The following week - with Blackburn coming to Fratton Park - has been changed from Saturday 26th to Sunday 27th, kicking off at 1.30pm.

Both games will take place in front of the sky sports cameras.

I'm begining to lose track.. I just know that a some point one of these days I'm gonna turn up at the ground on the wrong day or too early or too late... The City game being change is a good one means it'll be on the box now .. not so pleased about Blackburn it'll mean I miss my Sunday lunch !!

Yes I hate the home game at 1.30pm. Throws the whole day from a family perspective. I think the race for the uefa spots will be very exciting & tense for all concerned. Just glad we are in with a fighting chance. Though I wish Chelski had won the league cup, that would have helped us.

The good news is that there will be plenty more opportunities for you guys to watch yours truly on FanZone! Every cloud...
pedalo
Doesn't worry me I have to watch early hours of the morning anyway.
frattonaussie
that is a bonus pedalo :-) in all honesty is gives me a chance to see another game that i wouldnt have otherwise - the blackburn one - but i might not be as understanding with the 'rescheduling' next season when it comes to travelling to games, season ticket holding makes these things 'difficult' doesnt it...
pompeyrug
So nearly every away game from now til the end of season is on the box then. Glad I did not buy an away season ticket.
eastneydave
hot happy about the 4pm one that means it will be on australia around 7am or something silly like that
NK19
but wouldnt 1.30 mean even earlier for u NK19? and nugent deal to be finalised this week according to bbc...****
jbaker
chix, my mate actually did that for the Liverpool game (I think) He rang me at 12.30 ish and said where are you? I said at the game it's a 12.45 KO, He got to the ground just about half time!
pompey4me
P4me.. I'd glad I wo't be the first .... I just hop I get the time of the Cup Fina right.. would hate to miss Pompey stuffing Chelsea to lift the FA Cup ... Can you buy Stella in wembley do you know ?
Chix
i would expect so, but you will be looking at a fiver a pint at least i reckon...
pompeyrug
more likely to get a prawn sarny and fizzy these days guys
ChrisW
Chix I will try and find out about Stella at Wembley for you. Know someone in corporate hospitality so they may be able to find out!!
eastneydave
Hate to be selfish, but Sunday is the only day of the week that I reserve for myself and the chances of it being on TV out here increase dramatically. The Man C. game should be a cracker. 2-1 for the good guys.
