Spurs chasing England's no.1...
...well, they can chase him all they want - they wont get him though!
The London Evening Standard is 'reporting' that Spurs want to sign David James to replace Paul Robinson this summer.
Not only has James replaced Robinson as England's no.1, 'the suggestion' is that Spurs see him as the man to replace him for his club too, as well as his current Spurs replacement Radek Cerny.
Apparently James' contract expires this summer and it is said by the paper that 'a lucrative move to Spurs could be tempting' for him - yep, of course it will as he is clearly motivated by money isn't he, at least we can now cross him off the 'linked with a summer move' list...
James will not leave Pompey for Spurs or anyone else this summer, he is more than happy where he is and Harry Redknapp and the fans are more than happy for him to be here too.

My only worry is that we have tied up an extension to his contract already. You never know how may come in & let's face it Jamo is irreplaceable!!!

jamo wont go anywhere, we'll be up ***** creek if he did and there is no way 'arry will let him walk away - tbh i really dont think he will want to leave anyway, he doesnt want to so why should he? he isnt motivated by money so that isnt a factor - he'll be here next season, and the season after at least...

oh, and at this point in time i would say - all biased views aside - that jamo is quite possibly in line for the keepers place in the pfa team of the year... off the top of my head i would say that only joe hart and brad friedel can live with him this season...

What would he achieve by going to Spurs. At the moment outside of football, his main interest is his girlfiend. He is enjoying playing at PFC, he is reasonably close to his girlfriend and money doesn't worry him. I would be more concerned if Plymouth came out and said they were after him.

tbh - and please dont take this the wrong way - ive not always agreed with what you have said recently, and in fairness ive said so but thats what its about 'opinions' however you are spot on mate with what you have said here - plymouth would be more of a concern at the moment, well maybe bristol city who could get into the top flight...

Seen news of the World today? Big story on Jamo, he says 'we' are making massive strides to be one of the best teams in the country. He's hapy here. Cant see him going. Yes Matt, he is irreplaceable.
